A Snapshot of Your Day
Supervise teams of technicians and labor personnel for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical generators across multiple customer sites. Guide in generator systems to engineering, management, and suppliers. Perform specialized electrical and mechanical testing as needed, ensuring alignment to safety and quality standards. Review and fulfill customer contract requirements, while also preparing detailed reports on equipment condition and recommendations. Uphold protocols and guidelines of the integrated management system, including EHS and Quality standards.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Direct teams of winders technicians and craft labor personnel in the installation, repair maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical generators at various customer sites. Provide generator and generator interface knowledge and expertise to generator engineering, customer management, product line management and suppliers. Conduct electrical and mechanical specialty testing (low and high voltage) as required. Ensures all work is performed per approved processes and procedures while maintaining the highest levels of safety and quality. Review and execute customer contract requirements. Prepare and forward accurate reports concerning the condition and repairs and recommendations for customer equipment Review and execute customer contract requirements. Responsibility to comply and / or enforce the protocols, policies, guidelines, and competencies of the current integral management system (EHS, Quality).
What You Bring
University Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineer. Professional Experience 4 -12 years as an Electrical field service engineer. Technical Knowledge on electrical generator inspection, testing, generator rewinds, repairs and maintenance of their associated auxiliary systems. Good verbal communication skills with the ability to fluently speak, write, and read in English, at professional working proficiency level. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 80% of time (sometimes at little or short notice) Teamwork Planning skills and strong Attention to detail. Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to lead a crew of winders technicians and work with multiple levels of customer organization. Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities for multiple projects or assignments.
