As a Technical Project Manager at Molex, you will lead dynamic, global cross-functional teams through the full New Product Development Process—from project initiation through successful production transfer.
You will be the driving force behind project execution, partnering closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of innovative, high-quality solutions that meet business goals and customer expectations.

What You Will Do
Partner closely with Product Managers to align project objectives with customer deliverables, ensuring transparency and effective communication.Lead multiple New Product Development projects simultaneously, guiding global, cross-functional teams to meet scope, schedule, and financial targets.Develop clear, comprehensive Project Charters that define project strategy, scope, financials, and timelines for both internal teams and customers.Own and manage all aspects of project reporting, ensuring timely, accurate updates to management and customers.Execute robust project management practices, including change control, decision documentation, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.Lead the creation, monitoring, and closure of detailed project plans and schedules, holding functional team members accountable for deliverables.Mentor and coach team members in project management principles, risk management, and decision-making to build a high-performing team culture.Collaborate with suppliers to ensure their performance aligns with Molex’s expectations for cost, quality, and delivery timelines.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Supply Management, or related field.Minimum of 4 years’ experience in project management, particularly within product development or technical environments.Experience leading multi-national teams and working effectively in a matrix organization.Proven customer-facing and/or executive-facing experience with strong communication skills.Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of the time.Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings and evenings, to accommodate global meetings.What Will Put You Ahead
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or willingness to obtain within 1 year (company sponsored).Master of Business Administration (MBA) or similar advanced degree.Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, Mandarin, or Chinese.Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.Additionally, everyone has individual work and personal needs.
