About Position:

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Full-Stack Developer to join the Cloud Security team .

The goal of this role is to ensure the security and integrity of cloud-based platforms by building robust, scalable applications and features that support safe and secure computing practices .

The ideal candidate will have front-end and back-end expertise with a strong focus on security principles that inspire confidence and trust.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable applications using modern tech stacks.
  
  
• Collaborate with security architects and cross-functional teams to implement security standards and enhancements.
  
  
• Ensure adherence to best practices for security, performance, and reliability in line with eBay’s coding standards.
  
  
• Conduct security assessments , identify vulnerabilities, and resolve them to safeguard platforms.
  
  
• Participate in code reviews , providing constructive feedback to enhance security and promote secure coding.
  
  
• Stay updated with industry trends , threat intelligence , and emerging security technologies to improve cloud security posture.
  
  

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Education : Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  
  
• Experience : Proven full-stack development background with a focus on Java development.
  
  

Technical Skills :

• Proficiency in Java , Springboot, Node JS, React , Angular.
  
  
• Managing and mentoring teams experience is required.
  
  
• Familiarity with workflow engines for app development (plus).
  
  
• Expertise in security principles and risk mitigation tools/methodologies.
  
  
• Experience with RESTful APIs and OpenAPI specification .
  
  
• Strong in SQL and NoSQL databases.
  
  
• Familiarity with secure cloud platforms and architecture.
  
  
• Skilled in writing clear, maintainable, and secure code .
  
  
• Proficiency with secure version control (Git ) and collaborative dev practices.
