Manages the help desk team and the activities associated with the identification, prioritization, and resolution of reported problems.
Plans and schedules help desk activities to ensure continuity of service.
Assigns team members to various operations and directs their activities.
Ensures that all phases of help desk support are coordinated, monitored, logged, tracked, and resolved appropriately.
Analyzes help desk enquiries to identify recurring user problems, recommends solutions, and identifies areas where help desk service can be improved.
Oversees the development, maintenance, and integrity of help desk software to ensure that help desk team members use and maintain problem management databases or other help desk software so that help desk activities and performance can be monitored.
