 Senior Fullstack (NodeJS-Typescript) Engineer

 Parser is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help shape the future of banking infrastructure.
We’re building secure, scalable backend systems for real-time payments, wires, and ACH using event-driven architectures, microservices, and functional programming.
Our platform is designed for high availability, regulatory compliance, and financial-grade consistency.
 Technology stack: 
  Responsibilities 
  - Architect and implement backend services for banking flows (FedNow, wires, ACH) using event-driven microservices 
- Design domain-driven APIs and workflows with event sourcing and eventual consistency 
- Apply the SAGA pattern to coordinate distributed transactions across services and ensure data integrity 
- Build serverless components (Azure Functions, Logic Apps) to support asynchronous processing and orchestration 
- Ensure production-grade reliability, observability, and automated testing across all services 
- Collaborate with platform engineering on CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and runtime standards 
Must-Have Qualifications 
  - 8+ years building backend services with Node.js + TypeScript 
- Strong functional programming experience; familiarity with effect-ts or similar libraries 
- Deep understanding of event-driven architectures, event sourcing, and distributed consistency models 
- Experience designing and deploying microservices in regulated environments 
- Proficiency with Azure services, including Cosmos DB, Event Hubs, and Azure Functions 
- CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or similar; strong automated testing discipline 
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills 
- This position is open only to candidates based in Argentina or Colombia 
Nice-to-Have Qualifications 
  - Experience with SAGA orchestration frameworks or custom coordination logic 
- Familiarity with banking compliance, auditability, and secure data handling 
- Payments/fintech domain experience (FedNow, SWIFT, NACHA, ISO 20022) 
- Kubernetes in production; awareness of trade-offs in regulated environments 
- Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for productivity and code quality
