Position Overview

The Senior Software Test Engineer serves as a technical leader in our Quality Assurance

organization.

As a senior member of our team, you'll architect comprehensive testing strategies,

lead cross-functional initiatives, and mentor junior engineers while driving quality excellence

across multiple product areas.

This role represents a significant opportunity to shape our quality

practices and contribute to engineering excellence at scale.

Core Responsibilities

+ Architect and implement comprehensive automated testing frameworks across multiple feature domains

+ Lead strategic test planning for complex epics and feature sets, considering technical dependencies and risk mitigation

+ Design and optimize scalable test solutions ensuring reliability and maintainability

+ Drive defect prevention strategies and quality initiatives across multiple teams

+ Collaborate with cross-functional groups to identify and address testing bottlenecks

+ Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers

+ Develop and maintain comprehensive test coverage strategies

+ Balance quality objectives with release timelines effectively

+ Act as a quality champion, embedding quality principles early in the development lifecycle

+ Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and automation frameworks

+ Represent QA interests in architectural discussions and technical decisions

Team Collaboration

+ Contribute and participate in opportunities for technical innovation and experimentation

+ Collaborate with product owners on feature requirements

+ Participate in hiring and interviewing processes

Growth & Development

+ Lead technical discussions and architectural decisions for test automation

+ Mentor junior engineers in testing best practices and automation

+ Drive quality initiatives across multiple teams

+ Provide technical guidance on testing strategies

+ Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives and standard

Education and Experience

+ Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

+ Minimum 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation

Technical Skills

+ Advanced proficiency in automated testing frameworks and tools

+ Must have experience in C#

+ Strong knowledge of software design patterns and architecture

+ Experience with cloud-based testing environments

+ Deep understanding of performance and security testing concepts

+ Proficiency in CI/CD tools and pipeline optimization

+ Version control systems expertise (Git preferred)

+ Database concepts and SQL knowledge

+ Strong programming skills in an automation framework testing front end applications (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium)

+ Deep understanding of software architecture patterns and system design

+ Experience leading testing efforts for large-scale applications

+ Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills

+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

+ Experience with agile development methodologies

+ Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
