We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Developer to lead the modernization and enhancement of critical web and mobile applications.
This role is ideal for a developer who excels in .NET-based full-stack development, cloud-based architecture (Azure), and database integration.
You will work on high-impact projects involving permit processing, billing systems, and internal work order platforms—contributing to the digital transformation of large-scale public systems.
Responsibilities
- Design cloud-based solutions, focusing on Azure application modernization , data services, and scalable infrastructure.
- Create and optimize SQL Server database systems with strong data modeling and ETL migrations.
- Build mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms.
- Implement GIT version control , follow Agile development practices, and ensure ADA-compliant UI/UX.
- Integrate authentication systems and online payment portals.
- Deliver detailed reports, dashboards, and operational working queues.
- Interface with financial systems to reconcile invoices and payments.
- Build robust logging and debugging mechanisms for mission-critical applications.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-stack web development experience with .NET technologies .
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and solution architecture.
- Expertise in SQL programming , data modeling, and secure data access.
- Experience developing ADA-compliant web interfaces and mobile apps.
- Familiarity with frameworks like Angular, Node.js , and libraries such as Bootstrap, jQuery .
- Understanding of E-Commerce systems , payment portals , and basic accounting workflows .
- Experience in Agile environments and version control using GIT .
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
You'll work on
- Rebuild a critical web-based permit system using .NET Core .
- Improve performance, modernize UI, and implement customer and staff portals .
- Integrate with Angeleno authentication and City of Los Angeles CashWiz for payment reconciliation.
- Enable map-based search features and create new billing/invoice management tools.
- Expand features in an online work order management system.
- Enhance reporting tools and operational queues.
- Implement a read-only version for non-editing users.
- Ensure smooth ETL data migration and establish strong application logging.
