Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a .NET Backend Developer .

Location: Remote – Mexico

Job Description details of the role: We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (.NET Developer ) to join our backend engineering team.

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain modern backend services and APIs, contribute to the evolution of our microservices architecture, and help modernize legacy systems.

The ideal candidate is a strong .NET developer with a solid understanding of RESTful APIs, relational and non-relational databases, and a working knowledge of CI/CD practices.

You should be comfortable working with both modern systems and legacy code, and capable of contributing across the entire software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Work with client as part of the scrum team to develop .NET applications
• Design and develop N-tier web applications using ASP.NET, .Net Core, SQL Server
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze technical requirements, translating them into robust and scalable software solutions that meet business needs
• Oversee the integration of diverse systems and services, ensuring seamless interoperability within the .NET ecosystem
• Design database schemas and develop functions and stored procedures for efficient data querying from SQL Server
• Engage in all stages of the application development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, architecture modeling (logical and physical), design, development, implementation, and ongoing support
• Refine code and optimize performance to achieve substantial improvements in page load times
• Develop code and manage source code using Version Control System tools like Git and VSTS
• Design and develop new features and maintain solutions for core business applications utilizing .NET
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, enhancing system functionality and user satisfaction

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development using .NET / C#
• Proficiency in C# and solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
• Proven experience developing N-tier web applications and working across multiple application layers
• Strong hands-on experience designing and building RESTful APIs
• Solid knowledge and working experience with microservices architecture
• Proficient in version control tools such as Git, including workflows like Git Flow or trunk-based development
• Working knowledge of CI/CD principles and basic experience with pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle, including stored procedures and query optimization
• Experience using Entity Framework or other ORM tools for data access
• Ability to work with and improve legacy codebases in a structured and incremental way
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
• Understanding design patterns, software architecture best practices, and SOLID principles
• Experience optimizing code and improving performance in large-scale web applications
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git, Azure DevOps (VSTS), or similar tools
• Ability to design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms

Good to Have

• Experience in architecture modeling (both logical and physical) for enterprise-grade applications
• Familiarity with system integration and working with diverse services, APIs, and third-party systems in the .NET ecosystem
• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment strategies
• Experience with frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus for full-stack collaboration
• Experience with performance tuning, memory profiling, and diagnostics tools
• Knowledge of cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure, for deploying and scaling applications
