MySQL HeatWave Solutions Engineer

• Supporting proof of concepts, benchmarks, or technical evaluations with guidance from senior engineers.
  
  
• Assisting in the creation and documentation of repeatable cloud solutions.
  
  
• Delivering or co-delivering hands-on technical workshops.
  
  
• Collaborating with senior team members to build industry-focused solutions.
  
  
• Helping with reporting on business activities and customer projects.
  
  
• Learning to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related degree
• 2+ years of experience with at least one scripting/programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#)
• 2+ years of experience with at least one database system (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Interest in learning cloud technologies and database performance
• Good communication skills, willingness to present and collaborate
• Self-starter attitude with strong organizational skills and curiosity to learn
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to travel (up to 30–50%)

• Hands-on experience with any Cloud platform (Oracle, AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with container deployments or basic cloud-native concepts
• Exposure to analytics, data science, or reporting tools
• Experience in academic or professional projects involving teamwork and technical problem-solving
