Job Title: Master Data Analyst

Department: Procurement / Tool Crib

Reports To: Senior Procurement Manager

Position Summary

The Master Data Analyst is responsible for managing and standardizing data across multiple tool cribs, multiple ERP databases and systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

This role focuses on retrieving, cleansing, enriching, and harmonizing master data before returning it to the ERP.

The Analyst will also oversee the maintenance of part lists tied to preventive maintenance programs and ensure uniform naming conventions, part numbers, and descriptions across all tool cribs and plants.

Key Responsibilities

· Retrieve master data from ERP systems (materials, parts, equipment, and related records).

· Cleanse, validate, and enrich data to eliminate duplications, inaccuracies, or gaps.

· Standardize and harmonize master data across all plants, ensuring consistent part numbers, descriptions, and nomenclature.

· Maintain and update part lists linked to preventive maintenance schedules.

· Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure data accuracy supports reliability and efficiency.

· Implement and enforce standardized naming conventions across all tool cribs.

· Identify and resolve data discrepancies between plants to guarantee a single source of truth

· Support ERP data governance processes, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

· Provide reports and insights to management on master data quality, gaps, and improvement opportunities.

· Act as a key contact for data-related issues, supporting audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Create standard and ad-hoc reports

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Data Management, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).

· 2+ years of experience in master data management, preferably in a manufacturing or maintenance environment.

· Hands-on experience with ERP systems (EAM , BAAN, or equivalent).

· Strong knowledge of data cleansing, enrichment, and governance practices.

· Familiarity with preventive maintenance processes and parts management.

· Advanced proficiency MS, Excel, SQL, BI, Tableau, Qlik, or other data analysis tools.

· Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

· Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions and sites.

· Bilingual (English/Spanish)
