Who are we looking for?
IT Tool Developer will be a key member of the IT Employee Tooling team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining internal tools that improve employee productivity, streamline IT workflows, and enhance the overall employee experience.
This role is highly development‑ and automation‑focused, requiring strong technical expertise, the ability to integrate across IT and business systems, and a passion for improving the way employees interact with technology.
The IT Tool Developer will also leverage cutting‑edge AI technologies to create intelligent IT employee tools that drive efficiency, automation, and a modernized user experience.
What you’ll do?
- Design and develop internal tools and automation to streamline onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle workflows (e.g., account setup, hardware provisioning, application access).
- Build integrations between identity and access management platforms (e.g., ConductorOne, Entra ID) and productivity tools to reduce manual effort and accelerate access provisioning/deprovisioning.
- Develop services, APIs, and automations (e.g., Python, Go, PowerShell, Bash) to eliminate repetitive administrative tasks and improve employee experience and efficiency.
- Extend and customize AI‑driven IT platforms that meet users when and where they are.
Currently Moveworks is live; others will likely follow.
- Partner with IT, Security, and People teams to automate compliance workflows, security checks, and vulnerability remediation processes.
- Build and maintain internal dashboards, reporting, and monitoring for IT services and employee productivity tools.
- Partner with IT Support and Systems Engineers to uncover pain points in employee workflows and design AI‑driven tools that simplify processes and elevate the day‑to‑day employee experience.
- Establish and maintain best practices for IT automation and AI integration, including APIs, documentation, and reusable resources that enable consistency and scalability across the organization.
- Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies to identify opportunities for intelligent automation, reducing manual effort while driving measurable gains in efficiency and productivity.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 3–4 years of experience developing automation, tooling, or integrations in enterprise IT environments.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or another formal language; production scripting in PowerShell and Bash.
- Experience with identity and access management (IAM) systems (e.g., ConductorOne, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta).
- Hands‑on experience with endpoint management platforms (Intune, Jamf) and their automation APIs.
- Strong problem‑solving and system design skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross‑functionally with IT, Security, and People/HR teams.
