Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network.

The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications.

The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

**Role Purpose**

We are looking for an experienced IT Kinaxis Integration Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of integration solutions for Kinaxis RapidResponse/Maestro within our organization.

This role requires a deep understanding of integration frameworks, supply chain planning processes, and data architecture to ensure seamless connectivity between Kinaxis and other enterprise systems.

The Integration Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, scalable, and secure integration solutions that drive business outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Integration Design and Architecture:**

+ Architect and design integration solutions for Kinaxis RapidResponse, ensuring seamless data flow between Kinaxis and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), MES, CRM, and other enterprise applications.
+ Define and implement integration strategies, including APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
+ Develop scalable and reusable integration frameworks that support business needs and long-term growth.

**Implementation and Development:**

+ Lead the development and deployment of integration solutions, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and security.
+ Configure Kinaxis integration components and data connections to align with system requirements and business processes.
+ Collaborate with developers to create custom integration scripts, workflows, and automation processes.

**Stakeholder Collaboration:**

+ Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and translate them into technical integration solutions.
+ Liaise with supply chain and operations teams to ensure integration solutions meet functional needs and strategic objectives.
+ Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and project teams during integration deployments.

**System Optimization and Troubleshooting:**

+ Monitor and optimize integration performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks or issues.
+ Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot integration errors to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.
+ Proactively recommend improvements to enhance system functionality and user experience.

**Documentation and Compliance:**

+ Document integration designs, workflows, configurations, and best practices.
+ Ensure compliance with organizational policies, data governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
+ Maintain security protocols and safeguard sensitive data during integration processes.

**Technical Leadership:**

+ Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Kinaxis integration solutions, advising on best practices and emerging technologies.
+ Stay updated with Kinaxis RapidResponse/ Maestro features, upgrades, and industry trends.

**Experiences/Education - Required**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
+ Proven experience as an Integration Architect or similar role, with expertise in Kinaxis RapidResponse integrations.
+ Strong knowledge of integration technologies, including APIs, web services, middleware platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft), and ETL tools.
+ Solid understanding of supply chain planning and operational processes, including demand planning, inventory management, and S&OP.
+ Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and their integration with Kinaxis RapidResponse.
+ Proficiency in database management, data modeling, and data transformation.
+ Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

**Experiences/Education - Desired**

+ Kinaxis certification(s), such as Kinaxis Integration Architect Certification.
+ Experience with cloud-based integration solutions and platforms.
+ Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
+ Knowledge of data security and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOC2).
+ Experience working with global teams and managing large-scale integration projects.
