Position Summary:

The IT Change Management Administrator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the change management process within the IT department.

This role ensures that all changes to IT systems and infrastructure are managed efficiently, with minimal disruption to business operations, and in alignment with ITIL best practices.

This role will manage CAB meetings.

This includes CAB preparation, communications, meeting hosting, and reporting.

This role will work closely with their direct manager, IT Change manager to assure alignment with business strategy and adherence to change compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Change Process Administration:

  • Manage and maintain the IT Change Management process, including logging, tracking, and reviewing change requests.

    Ensure changes are properly categorized, prioritized, and documented.

    Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and ensure appropriate stakeholder engagement.

    Work with stakeholders that include, QMS Validation, Cloud Platform, Enterprise Services, etc to support their Change experience while enforcing change requirements.

  • Compliance & Governance:

  • Ensure all changes comply with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

    Maintain audit trails and documentation for all changes.

  • Communication & Coordination:

  • Act as a liaison between technical teams, business units, and leadership to ensure clear communication of change impacts and timelines.

    Coordinate with incident and problem management teams to assess risk and impact.

  • Reporting & Metrics:

  • Generate and analyze change management reports and KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement.

    Provide regular updates to IT leadership on change performance and outcomes.

  • Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to optimize the change management process.

    Participate in process reviews and contribute to the development of change management policies and procedures.

  • Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a large enterprise IT environment.

  • Familiarity with risk assessment and impact analysis techniques.

  • Strong documentation and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and reporting tools.

  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework; ITIL certification preferred.

  • Required Skills

  • 5 years of information technology experience

  • 3 years of ITIL Change management experience

  • Detailed understanding of Configuration Management practices

  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or other Change management platform
