Engineering Manager, Operations (Ciudad Apodaca)

Engineering Operations Manager Location: Apodaca, NL.A General company dedicated to the manufacturing of automotive electronic industrial instruments is seeking an Engineering Manager.Activities Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of engineers (process, manufacturing and continuous improvement).

Oversee assembly line operations, including equipment selection, process improvements, layout optimization, and automation integration.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to increase efficiency and reduce cost.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, supply chain, and maintenance) to resolve issues affecting assembly performance.

Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001) Lead new product introductions (NPI) and ensure smooth transition from prototype to full-scale assembly production.

Develop and manage capital expenditure projects related to assembly line upgrades, tooling, and robotics.

Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.An Engineering Manager must have: ~ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering.

~7+ years of engineering experience in the automotive industry, with at least 3–5 years in assembly operations.

~ Familiarity with lean manufacturing and root cause analysis methodologies.

~ Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams.
