We are hiring an Engineering Manager for Ceph & Distributed Storage.
With over 2.5 quintillion bytes of data created daily, we aim to help teams store data in open source storage on commodity hardware—safely, affordably, and simply.
Our goal is to make Ceph easy to install, manage, and use—from large enterprise data centers to edge sites.
We believe distributed storage should be straightforward, and we are excited to make Ceph accessible to all.
As an engineering manager at Canonical, you must be technically strong and responsible for running an effective team and developing your colleagues.
You should help them grow as engineers, excel in their work, find satisfaction, and collaborate well.
Technical leadership and a background in software engineering are prerequisites.
You will lead, challenge, and develop engineers, influence company culture, facilitate technical delivery, and work on strategy and execution.
You will ensure sound software architecture and best practices in quality, testing, and documentation.
