This position involves heavy travel (50-75%) to commission, test and verify new conveyor automation systems throughout the U.S. This is a great opportunity for junior engineers who are ready to start a rewarding pathway to other areas of automation such as control system design, panel design, and power distribution.
Debug various automation systems
System and I/O Checkout
Support Controls and PLC checkout
Test system performance
Lead teams of commissioning Engineers
Verification and validation of engineered systems to meet design and customer specifications
Interface with clients and subcontractors and resolve problems and issues satisfactorily
Design pre-punched enclosures and subpanels utilizing AutoCAD
Create and update project “workbook,” pre-check electrical drawings for accuracy/completeness, UL requirements prior to installation and material ordering
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience in commissioning related field
1-3 years’ experience in automation, control system design, I/O Checkout
Knowledgeable of electrical and controls engineering theories and principles
Significant electrical aptitude and knowledge of acceptable practices, techniques, and codes
VFD experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens or Schneider is a plus but not required
PLC experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix & CompactLogix), Modicon and Siemens (S7) is a plus but not required
HMI experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Wonderware, Ignition and WinCC is a plus but not required
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, verbal, and written skills
Skills in AutoCAD, MS Office suite and MS Project
Ability to work with experienced, multidisciplinary, technical specialists
Ability to coordinate small to large projects and teams independently and make quality decisions
Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems for industrial applications
Skilled with AutoCAD and design of electrical panels, creating electrical drawings and schematics
This job operates primarily in industrial customer project sites.
Safe working practices and awareness of the environment are essential.
Generally, this position requires up to 50-70% travel to various sites.

The monthly base salary range for this role is 56,172 - 74,865 MXN.
This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position.
Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
