The Role:
- Test Execution: Perform manual testing of the PanaCIM application, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Test Case Development: Create, update, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios based on PanaCIM requirements and manufacturing workflows.
- Defect Identification & Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies, collaborating closely with developers for resolution.
- Requirement Analysis: Work with business analysts, product owners, and developers to understand PanaCIM features and ensure test coverage aligns with requirements.
- Test Documentation: Maintain comprehensive test documentation including test plans, test scripts, and defect reports.
- Collaboration: Participate in agile team meetings, providing feedback on product quality and readiness for production.
- Regression & UAT Support: Conduct regression testing to ensure new changes do not break existing functionality; support final user acceptance testing phases.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements to testing processes and tools used for manual testing.
- Environment Management: Manage and maintain the PanaCIM application across heterogeneous environments including Windows and Linux servers, ensuring compatibility, stability, and performance.
- Cross-Platform Support: Provide support for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting application issues in mixed OS environments.
- Integration Expertise: Ensure seamless integration of PanaCIM modules with other factory systems and devices operating on diverse platforms.
- Automation & Configuration: Use configuration management and automation tools to standardize deployment and maintenance across systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience (typically 4+ years) in manual testing roles, preferably in MES, manufacturing, or industrial software environments.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycle, and test case design.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Familiarity with manufacturing domain and MES systems (Panasonic PanaCIM experience is a plus).
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation and testing.
- Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination.
