Application Developer Job Opening In Monterrey – Now Hiring Advanced Technology Services

Overview

Founded in 1985, ATS is a company with a presence in the United States, Mexico and the United Kingdom.

We are professionals in Industrial Maintenance and we make factories run better.

Summary: Under direct supervision, designs, modifies, writes, and implements software programming applications using application programs such as Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, and other related technologies.

This position will be responsible for partnering with areas throughout the business to design and implement digital transformation solutions in line with standard procedures and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Development and management of business applications using Microsoft Power Platform, mostly full-stack development in Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.

  • Works with stakeholders to plan, design, implement, test, and monitor new or modified business process solutions.

  • Translates system requirements into a logical, economical, and technically practical system design.

  • Assists with preliminary system design documents and detail design specifications including layouts, required procedures, and report designs.

  • Develops and creates customized reports in PowerBI to support the organization's needs regarding the analysis of data from completed projects.

  • Ability to interface and provide initial orientation of technical concepts to business audiences.

  • Participates in the testing process through test review, troubleshoots and debugs system errors.

  • Keeps up to date with industry trends and standards, as well as new emerging technologies.

  • Uses clear communication to work effectively with team members and customers across multiple disciplines.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, robotics, mechatronic, industrial or related field and 3 to 4 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience to perform above duties and responsibilities.

  • Strong demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft PowerApps, PowerBI and Power Automate.

  • Python programming language is a plus.

  • Knowledge and understanding of Agile methodologies.

  • Experience working in operations, maintenance or digital process improvement solutions.
