Android Engineering Lead Who We Are
We are looking for an experienced
Android Leader
to join our team and drive the development of innovative, high-impact mobile experiences.
You’ll play a key role in shaping our Android applications, leading projects end-to-end, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class user experiences that scale to millions of users.
What You’ll Do
Lead Development:
Drive complex Android projects covering core user experiences such as homepage, sales, category, authentication, and landing flows.
Architect & Innovate:
Design and implement new features, while maintaining, refactoring, and improving performance and automation across our mobile applications.
Guide the Team:
Review code, set technical direction, and mentor other developers through feedback, tech talks, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Champion Quality:
Promote test coverage, reliability, and robust engineering practices as key pillars of the development process.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
Work closely with UX, QA, product, analytics, and back-end/API teams to ensure cohesive and impactful solutions.
Cross-Platform Alignment:
Partner with iOS and full-stack engineers to ensure architectural consistency and maintain high-quality standards across platforms.
Data-Driven Decisions:
Leverage data and metrics to drive performance improvements and impactful user-focused changes.
What You’ll Bring
Experience:
5+ years of professional Android development, with published apps in the market.
Technical Mastery:
Strong command of Android fundamentals, debugging, performance optimization, and memory management.
Architecture Expertise:
Proficiency in patterns such as MVP, MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar.
Collaboration Skills:
Proven ability to partner with product managers and stakeholders to design and deliver complex features.
Clean Code Advocate:
Passion for writing testable, maintainable, and well-structured code.
UI/UX Knowledge:
Solid understanding of Material Design principles and Android UI best practices.
Leadership & Mentorship:
A track record of leading by example, fostering a positive team culture, and encouraging growth through code reviews and guidance.
Continuous Learning:
Enthusiasm for exploring new libraries, technologies, and industry trends to elevate the mobile experience.
