Tasks and Qualifications:
This is What you Will Do in This Role:
Participate in the design of semi-complex systems that integrate hardware and software.
Own hardware and software design and application for subsystems or specific control areas for large and small projects Provide support in semi-complex material specification, schematic preparation, bill-of-materials development, and appropriate follow-up.
Have knowledge of project budgets, schedules, and risks.
Works to meet deadlines and deliverables, achieve budget, and manage risk with team leads.
Participate in recommending ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction.
Perform important areas of standard professional level work that typically require processing and interpreting more complex, less clearly defined issues.
Refer complex or unusual problems to others with more experience in the field of work.
Perform site-audits at initiation of project to gather site information and confirm scope.
Perform on-site commissioning activities independently or as part of a team.
Review & report feedback of site readiness Audits (commissioning checklist/instructions).
Attend meetings before travel with site lead/project manager.
Review Commissioning Plan and Schedule.
Coordinate with field engineering teams, mechanical & controls, for project execution.
Identify and resolve readily identifiable, clearly defined problems.
Seek-out growth and knowledge in a specific technical area.
Mentor and share knowledge with less experienced engineers.
Provides guidance to installation teams.
Follow current safety best practices while on-site and aware of current safety design practices.
What We Are Looking For: 
BS/BA in electrical engineering or advanced degree.
2-4 years of successful experience in related field.
Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.
Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues.
Proficient in AutoCAD.
Proficient in either Rockwell or Siemens PLCs. Knowledgeable on AC drives, both open & closed loop.
Experience in Ethernet IP network design and machine safety a plus.
